This fascination with the depths of our mysterious oceans reached its climax during the Chanel show; Florence Welch emerged from a giant sea shell to perform ‘What the water gave me’. Models were sent down the run way in elbow length white dresses with pearl belts and McQueen created a coral sculptured dress that transported you to an underwater world! We loved it!

This trend comes as we celebrate the 100^th Anniversary of the Titanic with the feature film being released in 3D! Kate arrived at the event in London’s Southbank wearing a stunning grey dress from Matthew Williamson’s latest collection, which has no doubt sold out already! The grey dress had a peplum shape as well as turquoise and gold beading on the cuffs and collar; this might be her most fashion-forward look to date! Styling the outfit with a dark grey clutch and matching clutch bag, as well as bare-looking legs, she looked fabulous; however we suspect that the Duchess was sporting her favourite sheer tights!
