Paloma Faith always dazzles with her unique style and original take on trends. This week was no different as she attended the Blackberry Collection launch party during London Fashion Week. The singer wore a gold and silver embroidered and sequined dress along with a golden fruit hat and of course leopard print tights.

Paloma looked gorgeous in this outlandish outfit and we love that she added animal print tights to her outfit, and she’s becoming a bit of a style crush of mine.

A few people have been getting in touch, asking which tights are best for men this autumn/winter so I’ve decided to give you some ideas with new products coming in which we think will be great for men. Of course, you guys are the experts, let me know what you think and which are your favourites and we’ll add them to our ‘tights for men’ page. When considering, which tights would be good, I’ve been chatting to male-tights-reviewer Bill who writes a great blog ‘Hosiery For Men’ which you might want to check out.

Thinking that its winter and cold weather and everyone’s turning to cosy tights and gorgeous opaques, I think these new Pretty Polly Fleecy Opaques would be great for guys this autumn. You wouldn’t believe how soft they are! The biggest size is medium/large but they’re quite generous and stretchy so give them a try and let me know what you think. Also in this range are luxury tights such as angora opaques, plush opaques and lustre opaques – ideal for making your legs feel amazing!

For those of you who like something patterned, these Falke Opaque Flower Tights are coming in soon and they look stunning. Let me know your thoughts on these.

So this week Carol Vordeman has been criticised for not dressing her age. The ex-countdown star now in her 50s stepped out this week wearing a tight t-shirt and tight jeans; some saying this was inappropriate and others saying she looked fab so why not.

So with the very-welcome bank holiday approaching, the Tights Please Team are discussing weekend plans. With an extra day off work we’re all making the most of the weekend ahead.

And I want to know what you’ll be wearing?! Me and my friends have a tradition of going out on the Sunday night, and this year i’ll be wearing these Coloured Tights by Pretty Polly, which I love in the Jade colour. Coloured Tights are such a big trend and i’m going to show off mine with a simple black dress. My next purchase is going to be these Jonathan Aston Sweet Roses Anklet Socks in Black which look very cool with heels or wedges on a night out!

I love this season’s midi skirt which seems to sweeping the shins of every fashionista and is appearing in all our favourite high street shops! My midi skirt is a gorgeous floaty purple piece which I love to wear with my Jonathan Aston Sweet Roses Anklet Socks and flats. However, as the weather gets colder (and way too early, it’s still August!) I’ve begun thinking about how I can wear the midi skirt with tights this season.

Midi skirts in fantastic autumnal colours look lovely with black opaques in cable knit textures and some chunky black boots, the heeled ones are even better! Depending on the colour of your skirt, grey tights also look good for autumn and theses Jonathan Aston Ice Tights are just the pair for the job.

White tights are perfect for a delicate, English rose look with a midi skirt in pink hues. Wear this outfit with flat shoes such as brogues to keep it young and fresh.

Another great idea is to wear your midi skirt with chunky ankle socks or knee highs rouched down. This gives a laid back, effortless look to the layering trend this winter. Try these Charnos Cotton Cable Rib Knee High Socks in a gorgeous Mulberry colour rouched down, with boots.
