Celebrities in Spanx

At Tights Please, we’re more than aware that us mere mortals, who don’t have the advantage of an airbrushing tool/ personal trainer/ dietitian on hand 24 hours a day, could sometimes do with a little help in perfecting our bodies. So it’s always a little encouraging when we discover that A listers, sometimes take a day off being perfect and, jump on OUR bandwagon and wear shapewear.

What’s better than following a trend? Leading it!

The magazine requests are in full swing, which means one thing: we’re officially out of transition and it’s now fully acceptable to walk around in ankle socks and denim shorts! OK, so maybe you shouldn’t go that far. Today I de-layered, and braved the great outdoors, without leggings under my trousers, for the first time in weeks and instantly regretted it!

We’ve created our online hosiery trend report, so we know what trends to expect this season, but a great way of identifying the most popular ones, is tracking the sample requests from our favourite magazines!

As always, Henry Holland’s Hosiery collection is expected to be a winner for sure. His sheer tights with star embellishments are in huge demand already. Polka Dot Tights, Bow Tights and Ruffled Socks are also proving to be incredibly popular with the weekly glossies!
