After pictured in Dubai in May with bad burns, it seems Towie’s Lydia Bright has learnt her lesson and can now be seen promoting safety in the sun.
Known for her pale complexion, Lydia was seen with red burns she described as painful, and now on a mission to prevent other girls from feeling the same pain, she has joined Zoe Hardman on the ‘flag it’ campaign.
In the campaign photos, Lydia can be seen sporting similar burns to those of the ones she suffered earlier this year, whilst Zoe plays the part of the friend who didn’t protect her friend. The campaign aims to promote the idea of friends looking out for each other in the sun to avoid skin damage.
The campaign is a great idea with the upcoming summer months; unprotected sun exposure is a serious issue that is often not addressed as much as it should be, and with the lovely Lydia fronting the campaign it makes it all the more appealing!

This fascination with the depths of our mysterious oceans reached its climax during the Chanel show; Florence Welch emerged from a giant sea shell to perform ‘What the water gave me’. Models were sent down the run way in elbow length white dresses with pearl belts and McQueen created a coral sculptured dress that transported you to an underwater world! We loved it!
This trend comes as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic with the feature film being released in 3D! April Showers?
Wednesday, April 4th, 2012So in the space of a week, we’ve gone from having glorious sunshine, to blizzardous snow!
This absurd weather has got us all confused and i was just getting used to the idea of spring sunshine and picnics in the park wearing ankle socks and bare legs when i suddenly wake up to horrendous snow wind and rain! Bank holiday is coming up and instead of having the first long weekend in the sun, it seems we’ll be spending it wrapped up or inside. Not ideal!
It’s time to get rummaging in that hosiery drawer and looking for some cosy opaques or ribbed cable knit tights to keep you warm through this cold spurt.
Underestimating how cold and wet it was today, i was very much unprepared for the weather outside, spending most of the day regretting my outfit choice. However, the rest of the week i’ll be getting out the favourite Pretty Polly Fleecy Opaques and the Ariston Cotton Sheen 120 Tights to make sure my legs and toes are never as cold as today!
