Get The Ladylike Look.

Anne Hathaway has praised Kate Middleton’s style today, saying that she’s grateful Kate dresses like a lady. The Duchess of Cambridge, whose style is always under discussion by the media, has recently made sheer tights popular again and no outfit of hers is ever complete without some nude tights or  sheer hold ups.

With Anne Hathaway praising her style choices and loving the ‘ladylike look’, does this mean more A-List stars will be copying the Princess’s style? I wonder if nude tights will be making a more regular appearance on the red carpet…

Voldemort Prefers Hold Ups?

With the final Harry Potter film whipping up a frenzy of excitement around the world, it only seemed right to dedicate one post to the nation’s favourite wizard…. (well actually, his mortal enemy!)

When speaking at a conference last week, the cast of the new film revealed some on set secrets…

Ralph Fiennes who plays Lord Voldemort apparently had a bit of a problem with tights!

The terrifying character wore some saggy tights under his cloak, which became so annoying that he had to cut them into hold ups at the top! He also revealed that he’d often lift up his robe and tease the cast with his thighs! An image I’d much rather not have in my head right now!  (Voldemort in hold ups?!)

Now if the costume designers had been better prepared with tights, they could have got some great Cette Dublin Tights (£10.50) for Ralph Fiennes in a wide range of colours that Voldemort could definitely work with! They also come in a plus size range which is perfect for men.

What Will You Be Wearing This Weekend?

Talk of weekend antics always seems to happen on a Wednesday, usually because it gives us enough time to order an outfit ready for the weekend! Now that it’s starting to get a bit warmer (Highs of 20 Degrees are expected over the weekend!) it’s all about the sheers, hold up’s and ankle socks. Absolute MOMSENse?

For those who watch Gossip Girls; you’ll know her as the Blair Waldorf wannabe, but her off-screen counterpart couldn’t be further from the cutesy naive youth that she plays in the fashion fabulous, but incredibly catty, American series.

She arrived at Radio One on Tuesday for an interview with DJ Sara Cox in an incredibly quirky gothic get up! Bleach blonde hair down to her tiny waist, eyes thick with rock star black eyeliner, a zip up corset dress accessorised with this seasons must have item – Jonathan Aston Sweet Rose Hold Ups. She looked sensational in a satanic, gothic, bang on trends kind of way, however, she has caused huge outrage, mainly because she’s only 17. What do you think?
