Go Wild with Animal Print!

One of the biggest trends that has taken off this season is animal print, and it’s not set to slow down just yet!

Betsy Johnson among many others showed animal print leggings on the catwalk for autumn/winter 2011/2012 and this started a leopard print frenzy! Celebrities such as Pixie Lott and Paloma Faith have been pictured this season wearing leopard print tights in different style, and Fearne Cotton has been seen recently wearing turquoise leopard print leggings – which we love! Jesy Nelson from girl band Little Mix was also spotted this week grabbing coffee in her favourite animal printed leggings.

Dots, Spots & Bows!

This season we’ve seen lots of spots, polka dots and bows gracing the catwalks and the famous pins of celebrities and we’re glad to know the trend is set to continue through to spring!

Cosmopolitan magazine featured the Pamela Mann Over Sized Spot Tights which are a favourite of ours and are continuing to be the perfect party tights.

Celebs such as Fearne Cotton and Cheryl Cole have worn the Wolford Bonnie Dots tights and Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker was recently spotted in the Wolford Secret Bows tights.

Jessie J’s Laddered!

Yesterday, our favourite superstar Jessie J performed at T4’s Stars of 2011 and as usual showed off her unique sense of style. The British singer wore the Henry Holland ‘I’m Laddered’ tights which look like hold ups with a back seam that says the words ‘i’m laddered’.

Jessie also wore them for her Pretty Polly campaign and also for her performance at the 40 Principales Awards – clearly she loves them!

Pixie Lott in Leopard Print Tights!

This season everyone is going mad for patterned tights and celebrities are no exception to this; we’ve spotted some famous pins in gorgeous patterned tights this week…

Firstly Pixie Lott was seen wearing some animal print tights which she put together with some black shorts, jumper and shirt for a casual day look. Pixie looked lovely in leopard and really made the outfit work for her with an adorable boyish jumper. Take inspiration from Pixie and invest in some Pamela Mann Lily Leopard Tights, which are knitted and therefore ideal for this freezing winter weather!

Our other favourite celebrity spot this week, was Little Mix last night at the Hugo premiere; Jade wore some very special Henry Holland tights… As you may have seen, Jade wore some personalised Henry Holland Alphabet tights which spelt out ‘Little Mix’ as opposed to ‘House of Holland.’ We LOVE these! I wonder if Henry will start making personalised tights for us?..

Rihanna In Super Suspenders!

Only last week, we spotted Selena Gomez in the Henry Holland Chain Suspender Tights, and now this weekend both Kimberly Wyatt (Pussy Cat Dolls) and chart-topping superstar Rihanna were seen out in London in the same tights – the Henry Holland Super Suspender Tights! It’s a good job they didn’t bump into each other, that could have been awkward!

The celebs are showing us that the Super Suspender trend is definitely not dead! Even though the suspender tights made their debut to the high street in 2009, and have been worn by many celebrities in the past, the trend is still very much going and our Tights Please customers still love them!

The Super Suspender tights are such a sexy style of hosiery and that’s probably why they’re still so popular. I love my pair and wore them out this weekend  with a black dress and heels (good job I didn’t bump into Rihanna!!).

Little Mix Love Henry Holland!

Last night the X Factor results show delivered some shocks to the public as The Risk and Jonny were sent home while increasingly unpopular Frankie stayed in.

Here at Tights Please we’re big fans of girl group Little Mix on the show and last night they impressed us even more with their styling! Jade from the group stood out in her Henry Holland All Over Bones Tights from Tights Please, which looked fabulous. The girls are often spotted in patterned tights, and they’ve worn star tights, bandage tights and even rocked the knee high socks.

Fishnets Are The Favourites!

It seems this Halloween has seen some pretty spectacular and scary costumes, not only from you lot but from our favourite celebs too, with knee high socks, stockings and tights galore! Fishnet tights were the favourite legwear this year with them being worn with several weird and wonderful outfits!

The gorgeous Miranda Kerr stepped out wearing a basque and fishnet tights dressed as a sexy circus ring master perfecting the showgirl trend even in a fancy dress occasion.

Gaga performed in India over the weekend wearing her usual dramatic outfits, and of course accompanied by fishnet tights!

The trend has continued to be seen on famous legs such as Kylie Minogue, Leighton Meester and Britney Spears this week, and something tells me i should be stocking up on fishnet styles for my next night out!

This sexy and sophisticated piece of hosiery can transform any outfit!

Kelly Brook Gives Orange Tights A Bad Name!

Today Kelly Brook donned a pair of impractical heels, a cute printed dress and orange tights for a casual stroll down her country lane! Brook, who has recently designed swimwear and lingerie for New Look looked gorgeous, apart from the tights! The dress was cute, but here in the Tights Please office we had to double take when looking at her legs! Definitely thought they’d been overloaded with fake tan.

We do love coloured tights, and yellows and rust-coloured orange/reds are bang on trend but unfortunately this didn’t work out for Kelly so well. The tights weren’t orange enough to be obviously statement tights. If you’re going to opt for this look this autumn, try a high denier and a bright colour that’s going to stand out as fashion tights rather than a St Tropez accident.

Kelly would’ve been better going for a bright orange like the Le Bourget 50 Denier Coloured Opaques. However for something more autumnal, you could go for these gorgeous Pamela Mann 80 Denier tights in Rust which is the perfect hue this season and they come in loads more colours if orange isn’t for you.
