Go Wild with Animal Print!

Tuesday, January 24th, 2012

One of the biggest trends that has taken off this season is animal print, and it’s not set to slow down just yet!

Betsy Johnson among many others showed animal print leggings on the catwalk for autumn/winter 2011/2012 and this started a leopard print frenzy! Celebrities such as Pixie Lott and Paloma Faith have been pictured this season wearing leopard print tights in different style, and Fearne Cotton has been seen recently wearing turquoise leopard print leggings – which we love! Jesy Nelson from girl band Little Mix was also spotted this week grabbing coffee in her favourite animal printed leggings.

We can’t get enough of this trend, and if you can’t either, then check out our animal print trend inspiration! Wear yours with neutral colours such as black as not to go too bold.

Our favourites include the Pamela Mann Natural Leopard Print Tights which are just £8.48, and brand new Jonathan Aston Hints of Prints Horses in Leopard.

For something other than leopard print, try the Wolford Wilderness Tights or Stay Ups for an alternative wild look.

Rock Chick Fix!

Friday, January 28th, 2011

She took career tips from her X Factor mentor, now it seems Katie Waissel’s taking fashion advice from our X Factor favourite, Cheryl Cole, too!

Celebrating her 25th Birthday last night, Katie looked outrageously cool in a rock star inspired outfit complete with bondage, strap around tights, similar to the ones Cheryl Cole wore in her video Promise This.

With denim shorts, a rock and roll print vest t-shirt and leather waist coat, she certainly rocked the bondage style!

Copy Katie’s style: order your pair of bondage, strap around tights now! For long lasting luxury try  Wolford Hero Tights, at £33 they’re a budget buster, but they look sensational! For a more cost effective alternative try the Pamela Mann Strap Around Tights, at £13.99 they’re perfect for a quick fashion fix, we love them!!!

Don’t miss out! Treat yourself to a pair of bondage inspired tights now!

Have a great weekend Guys and Gals!!

Patterned Tights!

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010

So it’s recently been brought to our attention, that one of our favourite ‘Femail’ writers at the Daily Mail, Lydia Slater, has questioned whether she’s ‘too old’ for patterned tights.

Using Penny Lancaster, dressed in a wine coloured velvet dress, as her example, Lydia concluded that women over twenty five should steer clear of patterned tights!

In my opinion it’s the hideously unflattering velvet dress, worn by Penny Lancaster, that’s the issue here, certainly not the lace tights! So we put

our theory to the test and recruited four of our most fabulous, over twenty five, friends. Check out the photo and see how fabulous they look! I’m sure that you’ll agree, when teamed with the right outfit, patterned tights look outrageously cool and incredibly on trend!

From left to right: Vikki wears Pretty Polly Fashion Range Diamond Up Tights £7.95, Jayne – Red or Dead Strella Tights £10.99, Michelle – Wolford Quant Tights £24.00 and Amy wears Wolford Leo Tights £32.00

Quick Fashion Fix!

Friday, September 4th, 2009

Hosiery trends have well and truly found their rightful place on the catwalk this autumn/winter with many designers experimenting with a wide range of patterns and embellishments. While Alexander McQueen and Mark Jacobs wow the crowd with lengthening stripes that seem to incorporate the whole outfit in one. emanuel_ungaro_aw09_154Doo Ri and Emanuel Ungaro go sequin mental, bringing a well needed injection of glam and sparkle to our wardrobe. The fun doesn’t stop their either, coloured opaque’s with socks or leg-warmers were a common appearance due to the futuristic eighties theme that is set to be huge. Marc Jacobs also made a repeat with beautiful florals with Anna Sui sporting show stopping Lurex on the runway, not to mention Balenciaga Spots!ASF10190-005

With all that in mind, Tights please are here to make it easy for you to pick and choose the trend you want to wear. For stripes we recommend the Pamela Tripple Twickers, not only are they going to be featuring in magazines from Look to Marie Claire but cost only £6.99, bargain! If its glam you want, try the Charnos shimmer tights or for extreme glam the Wolford Seraphine Tights! Jonathan Aston’s new Autumn/Winter collection is full of funky patterned tights and textures that will help you re-create life in the Eighties! While Pamela Mann is here to cure your floral fetish with the footless water gorgeous Waterlilly Tights and Cette have some beautiful Charlotte spot tights that look amazing.

Look out for future trend tips on the blogs or on the Catwalk section that is coming soon.

Although the weather seems to have taken a turn for the worse, surprisingly spring is not too far away. We have the perfect tights coming soon to celebrate this fact and they will definitely put a smile on your face. Butterfly tights by Jonathan Aston are beautifully designed, and will certainly be an asset to your  wardrobe.

The tights are available in nude with black butterflies scattered up the back of the leg. The quality of these tights are very high and they are set to sell out very fast so have your fingers poised to get clicking.

These tights are perfect for people who may shy away from patterned tights, but still like adding a touch of style to an outfit by accessorising with hosiery.

Even if the weather hasn’t picked up by the time you have these tights, you mood certainly will have! Jonathan Aston are always creating interesting best sellers such as animal print tights, animal print has been seen everywhere and especially on celebrities such as Kylie Minogue and Angelina Jolie.

For another pick me up, try bright opaque’s and sheers from Charnos, colours such as red, petrol and bottle green will wake an outfit up, even on a miserable day.
