Tights Please

You’re unlikely to ever catch me running in stilettos. In fact you’d be privileged to see me walking in them if I’m being honest – more of a cautious hobble. If I’m distracted, even for a minute, you’re likely to find me under your feet within seconds! I go through more pairs of tights as a result of clumsy tumbles in heels than anyone else I know.

So for this reason, I am dedicating today’s blog to the 265 women, who sprinted, (and they did sprint, I’ve seen the video!) around a running track in Sydney in Stiletto heels! Truly inspirational!

I must admit that I was relieved to hear that a few did fall over, not because I’m mean, but seeing 265 women race in heels when I can’t so much as walk in them, makes me feel slightly less worthy of being a woman!

The past couple of weeks have been incredibly exciting for us in the land of tights! Celebrities all over the world have been spotted wearing fantastic tights, throwing hosiery straight to the hot spot as thousands of you race to be the first to grab some celebrity glamour!

Tights are a quick and cost effective way of achieving the latest celebrity trend, and it’s this celebrity culture that’s encouraging us all to splurge on incredibly stunning, star inspired tights!!!

Recognising the trend, we went on a mission to find some solid evidence of this trend and carried out a survey – the results were just as we expected.

We weren’t the only ones excited about the results, as the Daily Mail were just as interested in our findings, and decided to run a story all about us!!!

Starbucks ice tea, check. Black nail varnish, check. Sunglasses, check. So Mischa ticks all of the boxes of your typical American Party Gal! Her only issue is that she’s got a few extra pounds than the usually skinny socialites and goes without a substance issue.

We think she looks fab, although some red top newspapers would disagree! Describing her leggings as ‘hideous’ and ‘form hugging’. Admittedly Barton is sporting a much fuller figure than she did in the days of The O.C, but as Christina Hendricks, would agree, the fuller form is definitely grabbing attention for the right reasons!

Her lace leggings are bang on trend! Opaque, black and lace panels!

Her stunning tan brogues were also slated, and I’m sure you don’t need me to tell you that brogues are definitely not to be criticised this season!

You can imagine our excitement this morning in the Tights Please office! As we scanned the pages of the Daily Mail newspaper, we found Cheryl Cole looking outrageously seductive in a pair of Wolford Bondage Tights which she wore in her music video, Promise This.
