Leggings are now a part of life with the majority of us being lost without them. They are extremely comfortable, easy to wear, flattering and sexy as well as being available in a wide selection of styles. With brands across the world stocking this item as a staple basic with patterns and colours changing throughout the season, they certainly look like they are here for good!
The question is when is wearing leggings going to be the thing of the past? Do we wear them as often as we used to? Looking at the catwalks for Autumn/Winter, London designers have certainly embraced the basic within their collections by sticking with generic black but adding detail where necessary in an individual twist.
With styles becoming more individual and embellished, are we going to see the end of the legging as we know it and will the increase in design loose the basic principles of why we love them so much?
