Tights For A Rainy May!

Following a lovely sunny weekend wearing sunglasses and going out the house in a t-shirt, it seems the bad weather is back already! Today it’s been freezing and raining again and of course our legs are all wrapped up in tights to embrace the cold.

Whether you’re off to work or spending the day shopping, you can make tights work with your spring outfit and avoid getting your pins cold and wet so whatever your day has in store stay looking fabulous with some hosiery that’s perfect for this miserable spring weather!

I’ve come up with a few suggestions great for wearing in the day time through this cold May month…

The Tights Please Legs Limo!

Aquatic Love Affair

The aquatic love affair trend was present everywhere in Paris spring collection catwalks. Versace, Mary Katrantzou, Stella McCartney, Chanel and Pucci all look to our seas for inspiration this season.

This fascination with the depths of our mysterious oceans reached its climax during the Chanel show; Florence Welch emerged from a giant sea shell to perform ‘What the water gave me’. Models were sent down the run way in elbow length white dresses with pearl belts and McQueen created a coral sculptured dress that transported you to an underwater world! We loved it!

This trend comes as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic with the feature film being released in 3D! Everyone has gone ocean mad so at Tights Please we have adopted the trend to fit your legwear. Kate Middleton Does Sheers in the Rain

Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a charity event in London in the miserable rainy weather, but the gorgeous Kate Middleton looked especially lovely despite the April showers.

Kate arrived at the event in London’s Southbank wearing a stunning grey dress from Matthew Williamson’s latest collection, which has no doubt sold out already! The grey dress had a peplum shape as well as turquoise and gold beading on the cuffs and collar; this might be her most fashion-forward look to date! Styling the outfit with a dark grey clutch and matching clutch bag, as well as bare-looking legs, she looked fabulous; however we suspect that the Duchess was sporting her favourite sheer tights!

Most sheer tights can give legs a smooth finish, gorgeous glow and hide imperfections with the tights themselves being invisible to most!

Rihanna’s Red Suspender Tights Now In Stock!

Rihanna was spotted dining in LA last week wearing Pretty Polly Red Braced Suspender Tights. It’s not the first time our Caribbean goddess has been seen supporting the spender tights. I don’t know about you but we’ve gone Pinterest mad at Tights Please HQ and are all slightly addicted to creating beautiful pinboards full of our favourite fashion images and products. This new social pin board site is set to be the next big thing and if you’re not part of it already, i really would recommend checking it out!

We’ve decided to bring you our very first exclusive pinterest competition inspired by the Queen’s Jubilee and our fabulous new collections of union jack tights!
